I had my first haircut in Korea! Nothing special, I just wanted to reshape my hair cause I hadn't done anything to it for the pat 4 months. After the hairdresser trimmed an inch, he took out the 'rebonding thing' and I thought he wanted to straighten my hair a little. Instead he curled it inwards. I almost burst out laughing because I LOOKED SO WEIRD. After I left the salon, I quickly messed up my hair so that it won't look so curled in.

Here's how I looked on my way back after I salvaged it. I still find it funny-looking.

While we were searching for houses, Meiyan got a smoking fine at Edae. I seriously didn't know littering is prohibited here.


Shendy took us for a complete-Pumpkin-Meal in Edae. I never really like veagetable juice but Pumpkin juice is incredibly superb.


I seriously need to get down to some real work soon before fatigue out of boredom creeps in. I have been idling too much!

These 2 days have been a different experience for me. I was house-hunting with Xinyu and I've finally got myself a room in Sinchon. Nice, clean place with my personal toilet, TV and refridgerator. So I will continue staying in Matt's place till next week! In the next few days, I will be busy with my working visa and shopping for working clothes and shoes, and have lots of rest before I start work! I'm pretty excited about the whole internship.

Admittedly, I was quite scared when I came home at night for the past 3 days. Being in an environment, this time, alone where I know no one. I really have to take care of myself now - remind myself about those mundane chores I have to do like doing the laundry, buying bread and milk, getting the trash out and bringing my keys out. I guess I'm starting to adjust myself pretty much.

I feels really good that everday I can wake up at any time I want and decide what I want to do for the rest of the day. But like what Weibo told me "Freedom brings along with it lonesome". Sometimes I wonder if I made the wrong decision to extend my stay here because if I didn't, I would be catching the plane back this Sunday, back home to all the familiar sights and people.
hmm..I shan't be thinking too much now. 'll go through what's planned for me. I'm sure 2 months flies and I'll get to learn many things.

A little entry before I sleep. There's only Shi Ho and I left in the room tonight. I'm going to be moving out tomorrow and in 2 weeks time, I will be experiencing a different lifestyle here. Full rest for 2 whole weeks!

This morning, I was pleasantly disturbed by a call from SK (they always call me when I am sleeping). I got an internship in Korea!! which means that I will be staying here for another 7 to 8 weeks!!
Lovely news to start off my first day of "Vacation". I had lunch with Jordan before I head over to Myeong Dong with Xing Ming for shopping!! I will really miss Myeong Dong when it's my turn to go home.

Xing Ming wil be leaving in less than 12hrs time, back where her boyfriend of 8 years will be welcoming her. Although I will be staying here for a while more, I can't help feeling a tinge of sadness. I really dislike goodbyes. It's different feeling seeing lesser and lesser people in my level. I will be moving to Matt's house this Sunday before I search for my apartment in Seoul. Work will start on 7th July so I'll have ample time to rest and enjoy.

I will definitely miss..

And we played pool! I can't remember when was the time I played it.


And we had Fatty dinner. I dont understand why Koreans can remain so thin despite all horrendous amount of fats and oil they consumed.

My mum got him a new Sony Erisson phone and they had dinner at Jack's place. So when I called back, my father was happily showing off his handphone. But as usual, he doesn't know how to use the functions. So i told him..

Dad: Ok. If you come back.
Suzi: Really? But I don't want that. I prefer a PDA phone.
Dad: Ok, you come back soon. I will buy it for you once you return.

haha. My father misses me so badly he would get me anything!! lalalala.



Anyway I think I screwed up my exams today. It didnt concern me much, not as much as I saw the true colours of some people. So much for being so nice.
I'm glad I have 10 superbly wonderful friends! She can just rot!

It's weird how I have so much free time today. Or maybe it just hits me that I haven't planned enough to feel productive. I surfed my old blog and read the many resolutions I made, of which none was attained. I face-booked and friendster-ed, and realised how long I've been living in my own world, how I got myself caught in the past.
My friends, some of them graduated, some of them already a parent, some of them working and some working hard for their future, while I waste my miserable life away.
Moving on, I will search for that one purpose before I go back. Now I'm just going to put away some past.

I miss those times. And I miss you people.
